ASADEDH asks for clarification on the death of young Sahrawi Limam Ould Chegali

The death in strange circumstances of the young Sahrawi Limam Ould Chegali, must be solved as soon as possible. As such, it deplores and condemns the death of the Sahrawi Limam Ould Chegali, of the Sahrawi Association for the Defense of Human Rights (ASADEDH).
At the same time, he condemns his host family’s decision to cremate him, an act that goes directly against all Sahrawi traditions and disrespects the will of his biological family. In the same way, they remember that since this association, for more than a decade, they have denounced the program ill-named “Vacation in Peace”. A program based on the instrumentalization of Sahrawi minors from the Tindouf camps, in propaganda events in the different regions of the Spanish territory, as well as its psychological consequences for these minors.
Finally, according to ASADEDH, they offer our condolences to the family of the young man who died, while demanding that a thorough investigation into the case be opened to clarify the real causes of his tragic death.
